Les Madeleines d'Avignon

Opened in June 2026 in the historic center of Avignon, Les Madeleines d'Avignon is an artisanal bakery entirely dedicated to madeleines. Every day, our two pastry chefs bake soft, generous madeleines right on the premises, blending French tradition with Provençal creativity. In just the first summer, more than 40,000 madeleines were enjoyed! On the sweet side: plain, chocolate with fleur de sel, almonds, or candied lemon. On the savory side, an original specialty to discover: chorizo and Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes and black olives, goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, or bell peppers and herbes de Provence. Each season, a limited-edition madeleine surprises food lovers. Our recipes prioritize locally sourced ingredients and high-quality products. Enjoy our madeleines while strolling through the narrow streets, as part of a picnic, or pack them in your suitcase—they make the perfect gourmet souvenir to bring back for your loved ones. Madeleines are sold individually or in sets, with free madeleines included with purchases of 6 or more. For your events (weddings, seminars, receptions), we also offer mini madeleines and custom flavors upon advance order. Open Tuesday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
