Chocolaterie Castelain

Biscuits, Chocolate, Producer, Producer Bio in Châteauneuf-du-Pape
  • In 1994, Bernard Castelain founded La Chocolaterie in the heart of the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards. The union of chocolate and wine gave birth to his first chocolate, Palet des Papes: a perfect balance between dark chocolate and Marc de Châteauneuf du Pape.

  • Committed to the quality of its products, the chocolate factory makes top-of-the-range chocolates every day, selecting quality raw materials and adding traditional know-how that honors French gastronomy.

The company is committed to local, artisanal production, notably through the "Chocolat de France" label, ECOCERT certification, which launched the first chocolates in 2000, and the "Charte Pur Beurre de Cacao" (Pure Cocoa Butter Charter), which reinforces its commitment to quality.
