The programme for the 60th edition is now available, and the companies are adding to it as they go along!
The City of Avignon is mobilising all its departments to help accommodate several hundred thousand visitors and festival-goers. Particular attention is being paid to traffic, parking and security to ensure that everyone enjoys a pleasant environment and that this major event runs smoothly.
Workshops, conferences, debates, round tables, meetings… Over 300 events are being organised in the Off Village!
Every summer, the city vibrates to the rhythm of a unique cultural effervescence. On the terraces of the cafés and restaurants that liven up the streets, ‘good ideas’ for shows are passed from table to table: here, theatre is shared, commented on and discovered around every corner.
Companies from all over the world take over the most unexpected venues. From 10am to midnight, in hundreds of different spaces, people are playing, dancing, singing, declaiming… The Avignon OFF festival breathes an abundance of energy into the whole city!
