Description
MIRE is a trio that blends traditional instruments with electronic music, evoking the Middle East and folk music.
The soundscapes stretch out and bring time to a standstill. Acoustic and electronic elements blend boldly, blurring the boundaries ever further. Traditional sounds blend beautifully with electronic music and, at times, rock-inspired sounds. MIRE is incandescent music that builds in intensity to the point of trance or meditation—it’s daring.
Stéphane Clor: cello
Maria Laurent: spinet
Merve Salgar: tanbur
