Le Carré du Palais is a must in Avignon, the capital of the Côtes du Rhône.
It's a gourmet home for AOC wines, with its 10,000-bottle cellar in the former vault of the Banque de France, and its terrace facing the Palais des Papes.
Le Carré du Palais has established itself as the benchmark for AOC Côtes du Rhône and Rhône Valley wines in the heart of Avignon.
The restaurant's menu is inspired by the Rhône Valley and Provence, and is dedicated to 100% Rhône food and wine pairings. Rhone wines take pride of place everywhere, with a new selection of wines by the glass every month, and over 400 wines on the menu (red, white, rosé, vins doux naturels)... We also offer rare wines from the prestigious carré du palais cellar.
7/7 tearoom with a choice of teas (Cha Yuan at 5€) and home-made pastries at 9€.
