Through archival materials, photographs, and firsthand accounts, this exhibition traces the creation of this extraordinary and now legendary work, the experience of its first audience members, and its legacy. *Einstein on the Beach* thus serves as the central theme for recounting eighty years of connections between the Festival and the Opéra Grand Avignon.
