What happens when time stops following its usual course? In Chroniques, five characters evolve in a landscape of uncertain contours, without knowing whether they are at the dawn or the dusk of their existence. Caught in a time loop, they go through a succession of metamorphoses that disrupt their bearings and transform their way of inhabiting the world.
For over twenty years, the Belgian company Peeping Tom has been developing a singular language in which bodies, objects and places seem to be subject to shifting realities. With this new creation, Gabriela Carrizo opens a new chapter in the company's history.
Featuring five performers reunited for the first time, Chroniques explores the metamorphoses of the body in a world where time and space seem to follow other rules.
The show features scenes of partial nudity, stroboscopic effects, detonations and high sound levels.
