The best of Avignon

Start your visit with the city’s most emblematic landmark: the Palais des Papes. A Unesco World Heritage Site, it is the largest Gothic palace in the world!

Once you’ve finished your visit, there’s still a long list of places to discover, so here are a few suggestions:
The Pont d’Avignon or Pont Saint-Bénezet, the metropolitan basilica of Notre-Dame des Doms and the garden of the Rocher des Doms (⚠️ work in progress, reopening in 2027), Les Halles, the Ile de la Barthelasse…
