Description
The Collection Lambert shifts its gaze to the Near, Middle and Far East and invites three major artists who have particularly strong relationships with these territories at the heart of the world's upheavals.
Hailing from Palestine (Jumana Manna), India (Shilpa Gupta) and South Korea (Geumhyung Jeong), these artists share a common commitment to a series of physical and sensitive displacements that offer visions as profound as they are global of current artistic and political issues.
Through a multiplicity of forms and media, the works presented in the three monographs invite themselves like a series of narratives and songs. In so many side-steps, they accompany us through the vicissitudes of a world whose darkness we must poetically thwart.
