A historical site that goes back to the time of Charlemagne, in 792. This strong spiritual site has a Benedictine monastery from the 17th century, a monumental Way of the Cross, and a large collection of ex-votos.
Pilgrims and visitors go up the hill in Rochefort to pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary to intercede for them with her Son. They also come to thank for grace received. There is a guided tour, with commentary, available.
