Housed in a handsome 17th-century mansion, it is the former
former palace of Cardinal Ceccano.
It houses Enguerrand Quarton's masterpiece Le Couronnement de la Vierge (The Coronation of the Virgin), dating from 1453-54, and the famous 14th-century Virgin in Ivory, and also presents a panorama of painting from the 16th to the 18th century, with works by Simon de Châlons, Nicolas Mignard, Philippe de Champaigne and Reynaud Levieux.
