Description
Galerie Rousset presents the exhibition "Landscapes of South Korea", featuring a collection of black and white silver prints by internationally renowned photographer Michael Kenna.
A major figure in contemporary photography, Michael Kenna offers a sensitive, harmonized reading of the Korean landscape, based on effacement, slowness and the precision of the gaze. His images explore territories at the frontier of the visible - barely perceptible horizons, isolated trees, discreet architecture, mists and diffuse light - where a geographical space rubs shoulders with the imaginary, even the supernatural. This approach has a particular resonance in South Korea, where the relationship between nature, spirituality and silence is deeply rooted.
Through this event, Galerie Rousset invites visitors to appreciate black & white photography as a work of art, but more broadly as a dialogue between man and nature.
Free admission.
