Description
What if the Opera left its walls behind to transform Avignon into a true open-air stage? That’s the spirit behind *Sur la place, chacun chante*—a lyrical stroll during which residents and artists will join their voices in the city’s streets.
Artists from the Opera Choir and Children’s Choir will perform arias from Bizet’s *Carmen* in the main squares of downtown.
To give everyone a chance to prepare, rehearsals open to the public will be held at the Opera. The sheet music is available for download on the Opera’s website.

This event is part of the bicentennial celebration of the Opéra Grand Avignon.
