    The European Heritage Days are a great opportunity to (re)discover heritage close to home, as many places open their doors to you!

  • Created in 1984 under the name "Journées Portes ouvertes des monuments historiques" by the French Ministry of Culture, their aim is to showcase the extraordinary richness of our heritage through original events, unusual tours and exceptional openings.

    Come and (re)discover the exceptional monuments that have made Avignon famous the world over! Take advantage of free admission to the Palais des Papes and the Pont d'Avignon, and reduced admission to museums and private sites.
