One hour from the mythical Géant de Provence and at the crossroads of two international cycle routes, Avignon is the ideal destination for discovering Provence by bike. On your bikes, we’ll take you on a cycling tour of the City of the Popes!

The Accueil vélo label

Since January 2020, the Tourist Offices of Avignon and Greater Avignon – located on the ViaRhôna itinerary – have been awarded the Accueil Vélo label. We offer a warm welcome to our cycle-touring visitors and provide them with several specific, free services!

We provide a free repair kit and pump in the Tourist Office. We welcome any comments and suggestions you may have about our services for bike tourists and the infrastructure in and around Avignon, so that we can improve our welcome for bike tourists around Avignon.
