This fortress was built by Jean le Bon, King of France, in the 14th century, to protect the Abbey and the Saint-André area.
You can visit the twin towers, the Tour des Masques, and the Romanesque chapel of Notre Dame de Belvezet.
From the walkway around the fort, you have magnificent views over Ville neuve, Avignon, the Rhône valley, Mont-Vento

Opening : From 01/01 to 31/12/2023, daily. Closed exceptionally on January 1st, May 1st, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th. October to May : 10:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:00. June to september : 10:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 18:00. .
