Fort Saint-André
This fortress was built by Jean le Bon, King of France, in the 14th century,
to protect the Abbey and the Saint-André area.
You can visit the twin towers, the Tour des Masques, and the Romanesque chapel of Notre Dame de Belvezet.
From the walkway around the fort, you have magnificent views over Ville neuve, Avignon, the Rhône valley, Mont-Vento
