Description
This celebration of wine and vineyards is a festive event that brings wine lovers together to share, enjoy and learn about wine.
The wineries and wine estates of the Vaucluse invite wine lovers and connoisseurs to discover their terroir, appellations and vintages, and to learn about the art of wine tasting, winemaking know-how and the history of an exceptional terroir. The event takes place every year over the Ascension weekend.
For the 32nd Fête de la Vigne et du Vin, a winegrowers' village will be held on the Place du Palais des Papes in Avignon, on Friday May 15 from 4pm to 1am: wine tasting, Gospel'art choir, entertainment, games stalls, catering with the Bienvenue à la Ferme network, photobooth, musical entertainment provided by DJ SF and the group Namaspamous.
On Saturday May 16, the department's wineries will be opening their doors to introduce the public to the world of wine.
