Théâtre Episcène, opened in September 2017, has quickly become a key venue for live entertainment in Avignon. Its first OFF Festival in 2018 marked the start of a bold and inventive program, with a focus on the Belgian scene. All year round, Théâtre Episcène invites you to discover a rich and eclectic program: theater, circus, music, shows for young audiences, and one-offs, enough to surprise and seduce all audiences!

Théâtre Episcène accompanies all stages of creation, supporting both established artists and new voices on the contemporary scene, notably through year-round performances, residencies and workshops. A true cultural crossroads, it maintains a privileged link between Belgium and France, while opening up to other artistic horizons.

Located in the heart of Avignon, l'Épiscène is a convivial venue accessible to all, with an air-conditioned 100-seat auditorium. Faithful to the values of sharing, conviviality and humanity, the theater sees live performance as a space for encounters and shared emotions, contributing fully to the city's cultural vitality.
