The Parcours de l’Art is “The Huge Little Festival,” Avignon’s long-standing contemporary art event, held every fall!
Founded in 1994, the Parcours de l’Art has become a must-see event for contemporary art in Avignon. Each year, it takes over several iconic venues to make contemporary art accessible to everyone.
Since 2021, the festival has championed inclusive, sensitive, and socially engaged art that addresses contemporary issues and the local context.
For its 32nd edition, the festival explores the theme of hospitality: welcoming and being welcomed, listening to others, and embracing diversity as a source of richness.
Artists become key players in this reflection, imagining new ways of inhabiting the world and creating communities based on sharing, sensitivity, and openness.
Exhibitions, performances, screenings, and discussions take place at various cultural and heritage sites throughout Avignon, making “the enormous little festival” a major artistic event of the fall.
