The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Grand Avignon invites you to discover what goes on behind the scenes. Whether you're a future student, an enthusiast or simply curious, come and share a moment of immersion at the heart of our teaching in dance, music and theater.
On the program:
Pôle Ferruce: Dance in motion
The Ferruce site opens its studio doors to you for dance classes and rehearsals.
How to get there: To ensure that classes run smoothly, visits are made in groups of 15 people over 45-minute slots. Registration required at Ferruce reception (subject to availability).
Tour times:
1:30pm or 2:15pm: Classical Dance (middle school classes)
3 or 3:45 pm: Jazz dance (middle school classes)
3.15pm or 4pm: Classical dance (high school classes)
4:30 pm: Contemporary Dance (high school classes)
5:30 or 6:15 pm: Jazz Dance (high school classes)
Site Leclerc: Theater and stage immersion
The Theater department offers a direct immersion in stage work.
Welcome & Testimonials (2pm): Meet our students in the hall to talk about their careers and the realities of life at the Conservatoire.
Open Rehearsal (from 2pm - Salle Blin): Come and observe the staging of Joël Pommerat's "Contes et Légendes" project. The public can enter and leave freely to discover behind-the-scenes directing.
Site Leclerc: Music in all its forms
From early music to jazz, early learning to opera, discover the diversity of our classes.
Workshops, public classes and introductions
Percussion: Public classes, group workshops and individual introductions for all ages (Salle 1).
Winds & Strings: Presentations and open classes for bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, clarinet, violin and viola da gamba.
Harpsichord (Room 206): Mini-auditions, public lessons and the chance to try out the instrument at 2.15pm, 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
Jazz (Room 112): Class presentation and ensemble classes all afternoon.

Throughout the day, students perform in the Hall for short concerts:
2pm: Cello and Violin
2:30pm: Trombone / Junior String Orchestra (Room 109)
3pm: Éveil musique et danse & Projet Demos (Room 207)
3:30pm: Bassoon
4pm: Piano
4:30pm: Oboe / Singing (Singing in room 214)
5pm: Lyric Art - Grand concert in the Conservatoire courtyard
