The Théâtre Golovine: a permanent stage for choreographic creation, infusion and dissemination, offers dance performances, courses and workshops, exhibitions, workshops, meetings... in winter and summer alike.

All audiences come together in this veritable house of dance: loyal spectators, curious visitors, young audiences, "disabled" audiences, passionate amateurs and movement professionals.

For almost 50 years, the Théâtre Golovine has championed dance with conviction and high standards. All year round, its programming showcases contemporary choreographic creation for adults and children alike. Every summer, the OFF DANSE Festival crowns the season and affirms the place of choreographic gesture as a living, committed artistic language.

In an intimate setting nestled in the heart of Avignon, just a stone's throw from the Palais des Papes, the Théâtre Golovine offers much more than just shows: exhibitions, meetings with artists, practical and creative workshops for children and adults punctuate the season.

A place for sharing and conviviality, the theater also hosts a tea room open on Wednesday afternoons and show evenings, offering a warm and inviting space to prolong the artistic experience.
