Avignon in July: a concentration of theater!

Creative energy, a wealth of talent, venues that encourage cultural awakening – Avignon, the land of festivals, vibrates all year round! From the Festival d’Avignon, created in 1947 by Jean Vilar, to the bubbling OFF, via Villeneuve en Scène, there’s not a patch of land that doesn’t vibrate to the sound of applause. In July, the world is a stage.
