Building a more responsible tourism together

Vaucluse wants to become a model responsible tourist destination, which is good for the environment and the local population. To this end, the département, through Vaucluse Provence Attractivité, has embarked on a tourism transition process starting in 2021, which has brought together a large number of public and private partners, united around the challenges and merits of this project. During the course of this work, an action plan was defined to best meet the challenges of sustainable development in our region. A group of expert advisors, Club TRES#84, has been set up in the region to help you make the transition to sustainable tourism. To this end, Vaucluse Provence Attractivité and its TRES#84 Club partners are launching a number of tools for tourism professionals! Free of charge, they are available to help you accelerate your ecological transition: the self-diagnosis platform, which allows you to situate your structure in around 30 minutes, based on simple questions linked to the 5 pillars of sustainable development. If your score reaches 40%, you can be accompanied at your request by Club TRES 84 referents to build your “responsible tourism” action plan and find specific solutions and funding adapted to your project and your offering. So you won’t be alone. The “communication” toolbox, where you can find the “Vaucluse, naturally Provence” responsible tourism positioning. The offers proposed in the region must respond to the promise made in the message. When we talk about our region, we must be able to share a shared universe, a shared vocabulary and a shared image. Access to web pages and content, published on the Vaucluse Provence Attractivité website, to find the work done, support documents to draw on, and a link to a resource center, which aggregates national, regional, departmental and local resources.
