Memento

The John Gade-David Moreau duo came into being during their respective studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. A close friend, they have been performing together for several years in numerous concerts. They will shortly be recording their first duo album for the Scala Music label, devoted to Schubert's music for violin and piano. From the solitude of a Bach partita, to Schubert's perilous balances, via a number of Romantic transcriptions, this program presents only masterpieces and aims for the spiritual dimension, from a Jewish prayer to the joyful choruses of a Bach cantata.
