Some thirty students from the Lycée Théodore Aubanel, from Seconde to Terminale, enrolled in the Music option and specialization, open the evening with an eclectic program showcasing the diversity of their talents. From lyrical song to jazz standards, rock metal, pop and musical comedy, the groups range from duos to full vocal and orchestral ensembles, offering a rich and expressive overview of the artistic work carried out throughout the year.
After a short break, students in ArtScène's Comédie Musicale and Auteur Compositeur Interprète vocational training programs will perform sung/danced musical comedy numbers, pop song covers and their own compositions.
These budding artists will have their hair and make-up done by students in the Terminale CAP Métiers de la coiffure and Seconde Bac pro esthétique programs at Lycée Maria Casarès.
To welcome and guide you throughout the evening, students from the Bac professionnel "Les Métiers de l'Accueil" program at Lycée Vincent de Paul will be putting all their know-how at your service. Pink Silence - Social sculpture trail
With Pink Silence, Masterpiece for Good invites art students from Lycée Saint Joseph and Lycée Vincent de Paul to explore how art can take on taboo subjects and transform them into spaces for discussion and debate.
Masterpiece for Good, a Berlin-based arts organization, develops participatory projects that transform sensitive subjects into artistic installations in the public space.
Forty-two students worked together on the notions of silence and intimate words, combining research, testimonies and visual practices. The result is a series of seven social sculptures, designed by seven groups from the two high schools, each different in form but conceived as a whole.
Visitors are invited to take a stroll through the city of Avignon, between the two schools, to discover these works and the diversity of perspectives they offer.
From Wednesday March 4, passers-by will be able to discover the works scattered around the streets of Avignon.
To make this large-scale project possible, the CPES-CAAP students from Lycée Vincent De Paul and the Terminales Spé Arts Plastiques students from Lycée Saint-Joseph worked for six months on the design and production of their works, accompanied by signage designed by the Premières STD2A students from Lycée Saint-Joseph.
Free admission.
