Exposition - Le théâtre de Golovine

French prima ballerina and choreographer Georges Golovine founded Le Théâtre (then Théâtre de la danse) in 1975 with his wife Catherine Golovine, also a prima ballerina and passionate choreographer. She had been named a prima ballerina in Nice in the late 1960s.

Georges was born in Monaco on August 10, 1932, and died at the age of 82. Catherine died on September 5 in Avignon.
Both were dedicated to teaching and promoting the art of dance in Provence.
