The Château des Baux-de-Provence site covers more than 5 hectares and offers visitors an exceptional panorama of Provence, from Aix to Arles and beyond.

Visitors will discover the tumultuous and chaotic past of the Lords of Les Baux and their medieval fortress: the keep, the Sarrazine and Paravelle towers, the lordly dovecote, the castral chapel, the Saint-Blaise chapel and the former Quiqueran hospital transformed into a garden...

A new interactive tour via smartphone is now available: by scanning a QR code available on the site, visitors can chat in real time with Alix des Baux, an emblematic historical figure. With no download required, the experience is multilingual (French, English, Spanish) and fully customizable: each visitor asks questions, chooses the themes that interest him or her, and explores the castle's 14 key sites at his or her own pace.

For investigators, the Château des Baux presents an open-air Escape Game: Le mystère d'Alix, dernière Dame des Baux.
