The club has been in existence for 40 years, and has been awarded a quality label and an "animal welfare" label by the Fédération Française d'Equitation. The club's director holds the Instructorat state qualification, which is only given at the Ecole Nationale d'Equitation (Cadre Noir de Saumur).
