It's not the wire itself that's the subject of my work, but the emptiness it reveals and organizes. I play with fullness and emptiness, transparency and structure, the fragile and the resistant, but also with the precious and the worthless, in search of a balance between these opposing values.
The cast shadow is an integral part of the work revealed by the light. It brings about a confrontation between image and reality, doubling and metamorphosis.
