July of course means a very special, unique effervescence. But in Avignon, theatre goes on all year long. There are special events such as the Fest’hiver in February, organised by Scènes d’Avignon, there are productions performed year-round by established and emerging theatres, and festivals around Avignon such as Morières de Rire and Roquemaure de Rire.
