Yog'Art à la Collection Lambert
Museum of contemporary art displaying the works donated to the French government by the famous art dealer Yvon Lambert. The Collection Lambert now displays permanent and temporary exhibitions.
The Collection Lambert in Avignon was founded in 2000 by Yvon Lambert, seeking to open his personal collection of contemporary art to the public, within the walls of the city mansion known as the Hôtel de Caumont. This collection of contemporary art reflects the major movements in the art of our times: Minimal art, Conceptual art, Land art, painting from the 1980's, video and photography from the 1990's.
The collection holds works from great artists such as: Cy Twombly, Sol LeWitt, Donald Judd, Niele Toroni,Jean-Michel Basquiat, Anselm Kiefer, Christian Boltanski, Nan Goldin,Douglas Gordon and Jenny Holzer whose work can be seen throughout the year, alternating or in temporary exhibitions.
Since the month of July 2015, the new museum, with twice the display area, is open. The two mansions, built side by side - the Caumont House and the Montfaucon House, now display a permanent exhibition of the collections.

There is a program of guided tours on themes relating to the temporary exhibits and the architectureof the place. There are conferences and workshops for children.
