The Week-End Gastronomique d'Avignon returns to the Église des Célestins on November 14, 15 and 16 for an exceptional edition: its 20th anniversary!
65 passionate farmers from all over France await you inside the church to show you their local treasures: champagne, foie gras, cheeses, charcuterie, honey, nougats, wines, armagnac, olive oil, Grenoble walnuts, Carpentras strawberries, snails, saffron, cookies, natural beauty products, alpaca scarves... and much more.
On the forecourt, gourmet delights are on offer: aligot, wood-fired duck burgers, crêpes, pizzas, falafels, duck confit, soups, craft beers, champagnes... recipes prepared by our producers themselves, to delight your taste buds.
In the cloister, you can sit down at a table and enjoy a continuous meal. And don't miss the festive evenings from 5:30pm to 9:30pm:
- Friday 14: the Bodéga, a young and dynamic atmosphere.
- Saturday 15: the Vinyl Bar, a warm and cosy evening.
To mark the 20th anniversary, a grand parade of vintage tractors and brotherhoods will take to the streets of Avignon on Saturday at 11 a.m. (from Place de l'Horloge to the Eglise des Célestins).
There'll be plenty of entertainment for all the family: mini-farms, cookery workshops, vélo-smoothies, fruit and vegetable games, Vaucluse wine tastings, bee-keeping... And don't forget an exhibition retracing the 20 years of this gastronomic adventure and the bienvenue à la ferme network.
A weekend of flavours, encounters and conviviality not to be missed!
Free admission - tastings at an additional cost.
