After the international triumph of Yé!, the Guinean social circus troupe Circus Baobab is back with a new show that uses acrobatic virtuosity to create a powerful, feminist work.
Immerse yourself in the fury of the streets of Conakry, and discover the everyday life of a handful of men and women who, between dust and cinder blocks, music and song, cries and dances, tell us through all the tricks of the circus - acrobatics, acrobatics, Chinese mas, Russian bar, whip... - their hope for a better life. Then, women would be freed by their courage, the strength of their commitment, from the obligations and mutilations imposed on them by a customary society in upheaval.
