Savonnerie du Midi

The Savonnerie du Midi is one of the last factories in Marseille to use the traditional skills of a master soap-maker. It has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, and is a member of the Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille (UPSM).

Groups can book their guided tour at 10am or 3:30pm, and a single group rate of €50 will apply.
Free tours for individuals at 11am and 2pm on reservation, and tours on reservation for groups at 10am and 3:30pm.
Our tour is ERP and suitable for people with reduced mobility.

We also offer tours adapted to different types of visitors, including a treasure hunt for children to enjoy with the whole family, and give them a coloring book and a bar of soap at the end of the tour (while stocks last).

Tours can be conducted in English.

Access: take bus 30 towards La Savine, get off at Cité des Arts de la Rue, then 8 minutes on foot.
