
The longevity of the Nicole Tamestit and Pierre Bouyer duo gives it a homogeneitý and flexibility praised by the critics.
These virtuoso musicians have chosen to explore the Baroque violin and harpsichord respectively, before focusing on the repertoire and instruments of the so-called "classical" period, i.e. the violin as known to Mozart, Beethoven and Paganini, and the fortepiano, which was born at this time and evolved rapidly between 1770 and 1850, before slowly evolving towards the present-day piano.
