This 14th-century chapel was originally dedicated to Saint Claire of Assisi. Today it is part of the Théâtre des Halles and is used as a theatre.

Indeed, here is where Petrarch, the illustrious Italian writer and humanist who wrote about pontifical Avignon, saw Laure de Noves for the first time. Seeing Laure for the first time was capital for Petrarch, a romantic poet in advance of his time, who continued to write about the grace and beauty of Laure all his life long.
