Horns and cannons, drums and trumpets... Ringtones of war have inspired many composers.
The concert program explores this tragic and topical subject, its promises of glory as well as its cruelty and lies, through a variety of French and American Lieder and melodies from the 19th and 20th centuries, from Schumann and Wolf to Weill and Bernstein, via Auric and Debussy.
