(Exit) Knarr is the flagship project of a pillar of the Norwegian scene. A skilful blend of jazz in all its styles, Norwegian folk music and rhythms that transcend borders, this is an invitation to travel, a luminous escapade during which this orchestra, straight from Norway, leads us through lively, joyful tunes. Cycles is a duo where piano and saxophone evolve together in contemporary jazz inspired by a variety of musical universes, from Monk to Norwegian folk. Cycles' sounds are tinged with chiaroscuro, an intriguing unison between percussive piano and ethereal saxophone. Clément Merienne and Sol Lena-Schroll skilfully combine soft, contemporary sound moments with lovely melodic lines that evoke a walk in the wilderness.
