    Visitors can see paintings, drawings and photographs from the mid-1600s to the early 20th century. These works, some of which are displayed for the first time, reflect the many different ways the artists have seen Avignon, and their personal ways of expressing that vision.

    Visitors can see paintings, drawings and photographs from the mid-1600s to the early 20th century. These works, some of which are displayed for the first time, reflect the many different ways the artists have seen Avignon, and their personal ways of expressing that vision.

    There are four sections to the exhibit including general and panoramic views of the city, detailed portraits of a single, emblematic architectural element and romantic expressions of the urban landscape where the city may be only suggested or evoked.
