Drawing from his experience and his discoveries while playing on stages the world over, Romain Leleu has become convinced that classical music tinds its depth and richness when it borrows from popular music. Their repertory oscialltes from Baroque music, to film scores and contemporary creations, and connects to all audiences. The Romain Leleu Sextet has performed throughout France, at events such as the Festival International in Colmar, the Festival du Périgord Noir, the Folies Bergères and the Flâneries Musicales in Reims, among others. The ensemble has also performed in countless venues abroad. From high-brow music to popular music, this group, unique in the musical landscape, goes beyond any barriers that could supposedly existe between styles and periods, with great panache!
