Freely transposed to a timeless era where hyper-consumerism is king, Petrouchka ou le choix d'Holubichka makes Holubichka the central character in a poetic reflection on our relationships with others and the environment. Who will Holubichka, a superficial doll torn between two antagonistic universes, choose between The Moor, the flamboyant figure of power and money, and Petrouchka, the symbol of sensitivity and nature?

Who will Holubichka, a superficial doll torn between two antagonistic universes, choose between The Moor, the flamboyant figure of power and money, and Petrouchka, the symbol of sensitivity and nature?
Émilie Lalande, fond of misappropriating objects, calls on the paper art of origami artist and set designer Laure Devenelle to explore with delicate simplicity the themes that have been dear to her since her early creations: the place of women in society and ecology. Intimately linked to the music of Igor Stravinsky and the paper costumes worn by the protagonists, her film-influenced choreography for six dancers offers audiences of all ages a humanist, multi-layered version in which hope always has the last word.
