  • For Avignon, Barthelasse Island is the countryside of Avignon, and the Green Belt is its garden.

  • Walking along the Canal Puy and its hydraulic heritage is the first part of this itinerary, which enables us to discover that so close to the city is a pastoral space shaded by centuries-old plane trees. This countryside is full of garden patches and tree-growing which offer great biodiversity, both natural and agricultural. The entire area has ad to adapt to pressures on the land and the extension of urbanisation.
