  • For the Fall 2023 season, Angladon museum displays two paintings by Henri Rousseau (1844-1910): L’Enfant à la poupée, which is loaned by the Musée de l’Orangerie, and "La Basse-cour", loaned by the Centre Pompidou national museum of modern art.

  • These two paintings are a very special loan to Angladon in exchange for their lending of Amedeo Modigliani’s La Blouse Rose to the Musée de l’Orangerie, for the exhibition ‘Amedeo Modigliani. Un peintre et son marchand’. Three drawings by Picasso have been loaned to the Centre Pompidou for its exhibition ‘Picasso. Dessiner à l’infini’.
    The Douanier Rousseau display is the opportunity to pay tribute to this so-called naive painter, admired by the avant-garde movements in the 20th century.
