  • A crown jewel belonging to Maison Guigual in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château de Nalys enjoys an ideal location facing the ancient village and the famous remains of the castle, the Castel Papal. The estate has exceptional terroirs and grows all 13 grape varieties allowed in the appellation.

    The estate is one of the oldest in the appellation, and there is mention of it in the town land register in the late 1500s.

    The famous 13 grape varieties are carefully grown on the estate. Three parcels of vineyards surround the Château. The first, "Nalys", gave its name to the estate, the two others are two major terroirs...

    Additional parcels, added in 2019 & 2020, grow vinestock that was planted in 1904.

    To better understand the château and its wines, you can visit on your own, or take a guided tour of the vineyards, a small museum and the 15th-century cellars under vaulted ceilings.
    At the end, a guided wine tasting enables you to deepen your oenological and viticultural knowledge.
